  • This story begins when three 2nd generation Mexican/American girls find a book titled “Mexico” amongst their grandma belongings. Curiosity and a search for identity opens the first chapter to this journey. As “Abuelita” would say, “to know where you are going you have to know where you come from”.
  • Experience History come to life as you journey through the time of the Mayan Civilization (Los Mayas) to the Mexican Revolution, the “Corridos” that came there after and our highlight piece “Homenaje a Pedro Infante”. The most ambitious project by Tierra Caliente Academy of Arts in its 2nd annual performance.
