The importance of IDENTITY, both as individuals and as a community: With each generation, cultural knowledge and appreciation are harder to understand if not exposed to them. In today’s diverse community, the notion of identity is essential for understanding matters concerning the integration and socialization of our roots. In accomplishing a stronger awareness of who we are, CULTURAL EDUCATION is an element to our academy that resonates with our community. This element addresses cultural education by focusing on the visual and performing arts, and thus building on and further developing knowledge and meaning of its music, costumes, movements, expression and choreographies.

Impact in the community

We live in a society glued to their electronic devices, socioeconomic hardships, and with the current pandemic, losing our sense of empathy. The Cultural Arts are the heart of a community, for it defines our story, it tells our history, embracing the roots to our beginning; “If we know where we come from, we have a better sense of where we are going”. Our signature events embrace that story and teaches us, as a community, to celebrate our similarities and respect our differences. That diversity is beautiful and together we build bridges, fostering the leaders of tomorrow.
